ABC membership is a lifetime membership and requires a one-time payment only. You will be issued a Membership card with a 10-digits membership ID number that you can use to log in to the ABC Website for Members to manage your lessons, update application details and to make any inquiries.

As an ABC Member, you can attend the Trial Lesson for FREE if you bring along a new friend (non-ABC member) each time you attend a Trial Lesson! Your friend will enjoy a further discounted price for the Trial Lesson as well! However, do note that both the ABC member and the referred friend MUST attend the Trial Lesson together.

You can also enjoy an exclusive member only discount from our retail merchandise when you present your membership card upon making payment. However, do note that members are not allowed to share or buy items on behalf of a non-member friend/ family.

You will also be prioritized for any 1-Day lessons, events or workshops that we have at our studio.

In case of loss or theft of the membership card, please apply for a replacement at the Studio. A handling fee of SGD10.00 will be charged for the new card issuance (between Apr 2015 and Mar 2021) / new membership number issuance (from Mar 2021).

We do not accept skills-future credits as we are not a government subsidiary.

Each course has a reasonable pre-determined “expiration date” and each member is responsible for keeping track of it. ABC Cooking Studio is not obliged to extend the course expiration date due to your personal circumstances. Member can log in to the ABC Website for Members and find the relevant information on the top-right corner of the screen. The actual course expiration date will be the earlier of either
(a) the pre-determined expiration date, or
(b) the last day of the month in which the member finished the last lesson of the course

Extension is based on the condition that the request for extension is made before the course expiration date. You may approach our studio for application of extension.

Member shall apply for extension due to personal circumstances and pay a fee of SGD30.00 per month. Do note that you are unable to terminate your course after an extension.

Member can apply for extension with valid documents and without any charges for

(a) member who is pregnant or within 1 year after giving birth, 2 more years will be extended
(b) member who has hospitalization leave for > 30 days, 1 more month will be extended
(c) member who has overseas business trip for > 30 days, 1 more month will be extended

However, ABC Cooking Studio is not obliged to extend the abovementioned application that is less than 30 days.

We do not allow transfer of courses. You would have to terminate your current course and sign up for your preferred course. Do note that there will be a handling fee of SGD80.00 per course. Please refer to your ABC Cooking Studio Membership Terms and Conditions for Course Termination details.

Members can reserve up to 2 lessons per course per calendar month in the system. For example, one can reserve 2 Cake Basic lessons in the month of April and 1 Cake Basic lessons in the month of May.

No. In order to complete a course to receive a certificate of completion or to progress to the next level, all lessons will need to be purchased from our course plan. However, you can consider to use the free regular lesson ticket to learn any of the menus that you have attended before.

An automated email will be sent to you after your last lesson. Please kindly reply promptly so that you can collect your certificate at the studio 2 weeks later.

Members can reserve a Regular Lesson before 5:00pm of the operating day before the scheduled Regular Lesson. For Virtual Lesson, Members can reserve a Virtual Lesson before 5:00pm every Tue (for Thu and Fri lessons) and 5:00pm every Thu (for Sat and Sun lessons).

Members can do so by logging into the ABC Website for Members (accessible 24 hours) or ABC Connect App, by calling the studio or by using the touch panel booking terminals at the studio.

Thereafter, members should double confirm the reservation status on the ABC Website for Members or ABC Connect App.

The ABC Website for Members or ABC Connect app do not allow reservation (scheduled for the next day) after 5:00pm. Please kindly contact the studio during its operation hours (10am to 10pm) to check if the lesson can be reserved.

Our cancellation policy states that the deadline to cancel an existing Regular Lesson reservation, without penalty, is before 12pm of the day before the reserved lesson. For Virtual Lesson, the deadline is before 5:00pm every Tue (for Thu and Fri lessons) and 5:00pm every Thu (for Sat and Sun lessons).

Members can manage their own cancellation via the ABC Website for Members, ABC Connect app, by calling the studio or by using the touch panel booking terminals at the studio.

Do bring along your own pen/ pencil to take down notes during the lesson. Please kindly bring along your own apron and carrier. If you do not have an apron, you can rent it at our counter for $1 (apron is to be returned after the lesson). Carrier is to be charged at $0.50 per piece.

Member with long hair should tie up hair neatly due to hygiene reasons. Member with long nails or with sophisticated manicure should wear gloves during lesson. Do remove any accessories around hands and wrists, such as rings, watches or bracelets before lesson.

Be on time for your lesson. Tardiness of more than 10 minutes for any reason is considered as cancelled and member will not be able to attend the lesson.

Lesson must be attended by the member who had registered. No one should attend the lesson on your behalf.

It is a good habit to write your name and membership ID number on your recipe once your instructor hand it to you. Take care of the printed recipe given to you. Any soiled, torn or missing recipe, due to negligence or any personal situation, will not be replaced by ABC Cooking Studio. However, member can purchase a copy of the same recipe at SGD10.00 from the studio.

No photography or filming during the lesson.

Member shall take care or may use the lockers within our premise to safely store all their personal belongings including valuables. At the end of your lesson, do check under the table to see if you have left your recipe or any personal belongings behind before you leave the studio. ABC Cooking Studio is not responsible for any lost or stolen items, accidents and other troubles that might have caused.

At the end of your Regular Lesson, we will provide you with the packaging materials for your bread or cake so that you can bring them back and share with your loved ones. Please kindly take note that the carrier is to be charged at $0.50 per piece, which the proceeds are to be donated to Singapore Environment Council.

However, dishes made from a cooking Regular Lesson should be consumed at our premise. In the case that the Member wish to take away the cooked food, the Member is responsible to bring take away box or container and to consume the food within 2 hours. The Company will not behold responsible for the food that has been taken away from the studio.

Be on time for your lesson. Tardiness of more than 10 minutes for any reason is considered as cancelled (lesson will be forfeited) and member will not be able to attend the lesson.

We are sorry to hear that you are unwell, and we wish you a quick recovery.
We will need valid documents, such as a MC, for the management to credit a lesson back to you. Hence, in this case, the best we can do is to provide you with the original recipe of the lesson you had missed.

Virtual Basic Lesson will be conducted for ABC members every Thu, Fri, Sat and Sun.

Cut off time for lesson booking reservation and cancellation will be by 5pm every Tue (for Thu and Fri lessons) and 5pm every Thu (for Sat and Sun lessons).

Precautions

• You can enter the room at least 10 minutes before the commencement of the lesson. Entry will be denied if the member is late for more than 10 minutes.
• Please indicate your membership ID and name to confirm your attendance.
• Please switch on your camera so that the instructor is able to check on your progress.
• Please note that video and audio may be interrupted depending on the home environment.　
• Please make sure that your mobile devices are fully charged to avoid any disruption during the lesson.
• Recording and shooting of the lesson process are prohibited.
• We cannot answer any questions regarding the communication environment and Zoom. For Zoom, please check the Zoom official website

If you are a member, the attendance of 1 virtual lesson (Bread Basic/ Cake Basic) will be equivalent to 1 regular lesson from your active Bread Basic/ Cake Basic course. For non-members, you may purchase the courses at any of our 3 studios or https://abc-cooking.com.sg/purchase/.

Yes. One virtual lesson is equivalent to one regular lesson; therefore, you can advance to Master course once you have completed 24 Bread lessons, or 16 Cake lessons purchased from the Basic course (regardless of virtual lesson or lesson attended in the studio).

A trial lesson is designed for a first timer to ABC Cooking Studio to experience the joy and excitement of learning to cook or bake. Customers who joined the Trial Lessons are encouraged to pursue further learning through our regular courses.

Our Trial Lesson is conducted in a small group, with up to 4 participants to 1 instructor, so that you can enjoy the optimal amount of time with our instructor and ask questions.

After the Trial Lesson, our instructors will explain more about the benefits of becoming an ABC member, the application process, the course structure, the package discounts, the various payment options, how to make lesson reservations, as well as answer any questions you may have about the studio and our courses in general.

This briefing is only included with a Trial Lesson, hence that is what makes it different from our other lessons such as 1-Day Lessons or workshops.

Trial Lessons are exclusively for first-timer non-members.

Beginners with no cooking or baking experiences can join our Trial Lessons.

However, for safety reasons, we do have age restrictions for our Trial Lessons. Cake and Bread Trial Lessons are for 9 years old and above only, while Cooking Trial Lessons are for 13 years old and above only.

Participants < 18 years old would require a parent or guardian of age > 18 years old to accompany, by buying another Trial Lesson seat and attend the Trial Lesson together.

We do not conduct Trial Lessons for kids age 4 to 8 years old. However, they can register for our ABC Kids Course or participate in any of our 1-Day lessons that we offer for kids from time to time.

* Age is defined by date of birth instead of the year.

To ensure that the Trial Lesson runs smoothly and without disruptions, non-participants are not allowed to stand at one side to watch.​

We will provide you with a recipe (printed or digital), all ingredients and cooking/ baking utilities to be used during the Trial Lesson. You may want to bring your own pen/ pencil to take down notes and please be reminded to bring along your own apron and carrier/reusable bag to help reduce waste to the environment.

If we found out that customers are booking our trial lessons for private events, we will demand the customers to top up to $80 or the relevant pricing in our private event packages. We will not hesitate to cancel your lessons without any refund if the customers refuse to top up the price difference.

We do welcome our overseas members to join us for trial lesson (and for FREE) if and only if, you bring along a local new friend (ie. Singaporean first-timer non-member) when you attend a Trial Lesson! In addition, both the ABC member and the referred friend MUST attend the Trial Lesson together. Your referred friend can enjoy a special discounted price of SGD30.00 per person!

If the member would like to join the Trial Lesson, he/she may bring a maximum of 3 friends for EACH session. And these 3 friends are able to enjoy the member referral price of $30.

If the member does not want to join the Trial Lesson, a maximum of 4 friends are able to use his/her member ID to enjoy the member referral price of $30 for EACH session.

At the end of the Tablet Lesson, we will also provide you with the packaging materials for your product so that you can bring them back and share with your loved ones. While most of our lessons practice one menu per table, tablet lesson allows each participant to follow their preferred menu, which is similar to our Bread Basic and Bread Riche course!​
*Ingredients have been pre-measured before the lesson, so just put on your apron and follow the instructional video!​

Admission timing is more flexible for tablet lesson - Participants are allowed to enter the studio as long as the check-in time is within the admission period. However, after the last admission timing of the session (also known as the time zone), all entries will be denied, so do check your confirmation email details!​

We strictly do not allow customers to book Tablet Lessons for 6 pax and above due to studio limitations. However, we have other menus that you can consider for group lesson booking. Please contact us for the group booking packages.​

Please approach our studio to purchase a copy of the recipe at SGD10.00. Member can purchase the recipe of the lessons they had attended only.

It is always a good habit to write your name and membership ID number on your recipe once your instructor hand it to you, and to check under the table after your lesson before you leave the studio, for situation like this.

Please call the studio and we can help you check on-site. Do provide us with information such as the table number where you had your lesson, the description of your lost item, etc. If someone had picked up your item and passed it to our staff, we can also check our “Lost & Found” box for you.

However, do note that our “Lost & Found” storage management will store items for up to 1-month duration only. After 1 month, these items will be discarded. ABC Cooking Studio is also not responsible for any lost or stolen items, accidents and other troubles that might have caused.
