From helping out my family business at a Café to learning my mother's Nyonya recipe and grandfather's Bak Kwa recipe, I am eager to learn more about food. Therefore, I pursued Pastry Arts, and now I am here in ABC Cooking Studio.

I am constantly working towards mastering my craft and learning from my peers. Nothing gives me more satisfaction and joy than when people are in awe with the product I produced or the knowledge I shared with them.

Aside from baking, my other passion lies in the arts (baking is also a form of art).

I feel that these days we ingest a lot of information but, yet we put little thoughts in producing creative output from this information. Hence, I often push myself to collate my thoughts and feelings and translate them into words, paintings or bakes.

I'm Jerlyn, my culinary motto is “If you have fun cooking, everything comes out right.” Recipes doesn't have a soul. It's you as the cook, who put soul into the food.

My hobbies include shopping, hunting for good and exotic foods, reading Chinese novels, jogging, singing, and spending quality time with my family.

Now I am getting on new hobbies- such as learning more about skincare, make up, yoga and meditation.

Achievement: Achieved the Master Pastry Chef and Culinary Educator badge and title certified by C&G and WorldChefs located in U.K & France.

Hello and hi! My name’s Amir, though I go by Otter among some of my friends. I was formerly a SpEd teacher of about 3 years and now I’m here.

I’m a firm believer of discipline and commitment, so I treat my food with the same amount of commitment as I do my time in the gym. Moderation is key.

I love traveling, eating and listening to music. To me, traveling connects people, music connects soul, food is happiness, having someone to share the happiness is blissful.
