I graduated from Taiwan University in Baking and Hospitality Management. My love for culinary grew from my childhood. One of the fondest childhood memories is helping my mum make Chinese Hokkien dishes like Ngoh Hiang for Lunar New Year celebrations. Since then my love and passion for the culinary started.

Food is very important in our life. "We are what we eat!" I believe good foods and healthy foods can bring the happiness to our life.

For leisure, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends over a meal. As an instructor, I hope to impart my love for cooking to everyone I meet.

My interest in baking started with Betty Crocker's cake mixes. Since then it grew into a burning desire to chart my career in baking. Eager to learn more, I went to attend culinary schools in Singapore and New York to learn the baking skills. Now baking is part of my life and I am baking with my own recipes too! From a simple baking out from a box, it has transformed into a professional career for me.

Growing up with my family's restaurant business began my passion for cooking & baking. Ever since then, I have always enjoyed baking pastries and cooking for the people I love.

In my free time I like to play video games, especially the Pokémon series, catch up on my favorite tv shows, and go dog spotting. My favorite dog is a Corgi!

Food is the universal language and I believe that tasty food will brighten up one’s emotion. During my free time, I like to go cafe-hoping as deriving from my previous experience as a barista (not only pursuing for great cuppa but also scrumptious dish). I dream to travel around and visit my idol cafe.

I take pleasure from relaxing in one corner, sipping a cup of coffee and having a piece of bread or cake. I love listening to music of all genre except hard metal.

If you want to avoid heartache, fall in love with food. It’ll never break your heart. Those who love to eat and also those who love life and are open to joy and pleasure. :)

I love everything about food and nature - they’ve taught me so much about life and how to enjoy it. For instance, isn’t it amazing how we give life to bread and in return, it gives us life in the form of sustenance and joy?

The kitchen can be a daunting place, even for me at one point in time.

But with years of professional kitchen experience under my belt, it has broadened my horizon on how I perceive and appreciate food.
